More from the Montreal Show!

All,

This was just posted:

http://www.6moons.com/industryfeatures/montreal07/montreal.html

This was a fun read, especially if you read about how I stuck those roller blocks under the lamp.  Let me explain... I was getting really frustrated when I tried to use my modded Olive player with them underneith... it kept jiggling around like it was on a jello mold :banghead: so I decided to hide them under the lamp on the nearby table.  Now that was one "clever little lamp!"  aa

Many thanks to Paul Candy of 6moons.com (and his son Patrick) for visiting our room.  I think it was a great idea that he brought his 13-year old son to the show and I'm glad he had a lot of fun and has taken such an interest in this hobby.  As I told Paul... its just like the tobacco industry says: "Hook 'em young, and hook 'em for life!"  :smoke:

Also, I received an email from Rick Becker of EnjoyTheMusic.com... he is finishing up writing his Montreal 2007 show report, so that will be out soon enough and I'll post the link when it is out (assuming the comments are good  :icon_lol:)!

This was a great show and we'll be back for 2008!

Vinnie

Just found this post on audioasylum:

Srajan,

I am very glad to hear that your wife's surgery was a success.  Take you time in getting back into the swing of things with 6moons... I was very surprised that you were able to make some updates today (including Paul's Montreal show coverage :o), as I know it hasn't been easy for you to connect to your server while you have been away.

Wishing Ivette a speedy recovery...and a smooth transition for you back to work when the time comes,

Vinnie
