Thanks, good information.  I am looking at the Samsung LN-T3253H along with an Oppo 981HD to replace an aging Panasonic CRT and Toshiba DVD player in my bedroom system.  Lot's of interesting choices and it's nice to see the price points coming down a bit.

I just bought a Samsung LN-S3251D for my parents, and it is really great...terrific picture quality, distinct (and very good IMHO) styling...
