Hi Jim,

How easy is it to run the HagUsb from a separate supply other than the +5v USB which comes from the PC? Is there anything to be gaind by doing so? My understanding is that the power from the PC is pretty noisey.

That's exactly why I did it this way.  The entire point is to keep the computer ground separate from the audio ground.  It's not about the 5V, but about ground and 5V.

It's ok to connect a new 5V supply, just make sure it is transformer isolated from audio system.
