I ordered that MS set-up a few years ago...it was on backorder for months though and i lost interest.

For a portable system i'd bet it'd rock, being battery powered.

For that kind of $ though, you could get insane quality pro sound powered monitors for
your computer desk.   For 1/2 that you can get great speaks...
