I will be the first to admit that they have some unlistenable albums but "Chocolate and Cheese" is really good!  I also really like "The Mollusk"
I particularly like the songs "Spinal meningitis" and "Can't put my Finger on it"

about 5 years ago i met a hippy girl on chicago's N. Shore, a real Trust-a-farian.

She lived in a commune outside Atlanta, and the commune revolved around Ween.

i like their songs and lyrics, never been too impressed by their live shows though.

Really?  They absolutely rock live!  I am not a big fan of the mostly sexually frustrate male crowd but they tear it up.

My friends that are really into them swear by their live shows...i've had the misfortune of seeing them at the Riv here (which stinks) and 2 outdoor shows.  One where it was 110 out and the 2nd was in St. Louis...talk about a horrid crowd.

i do resepect their songs though, da bruthas can write cool lyrics.

They are very good live...I saw them at Penn's Landing (Philly Waterfront) a few years back.  A friend of mine was sorta living with them in New Hope PA about 9 years ago.

Generally St. Louis has excellent music crowds and a wide variety of tastes - as long as the musicians are decent.

I'm a Stl kid....I meant that a 110 degree day show at Riverport (or wahtever its called now) can test most any decent crowd!    aa

Gotcha.  Understand very well the heat and humidity (and half naked girls) at the summer concerts.  BTW, it's the UMB Bank Pavillion now....
