Hello Audiocircle!!
This is China chatting. We have started a little audio business here in the City of Changsha in Hunan Province of mainland China.
Basically, it is a hope, a prayer and a dream. In reality we are nothing more than a home "mom and pop" location with authorization
to sell products that are available. We stock very little as we are on limited financial sources. Meaning that we are starting out and
everything goes back into the business.
Now to the subject. Websites. I have been trying to have a "Ming Yi Audio" website designed and put into operation for some time.
Originally, I hired a "brillant" university student to do this for us. I paid him up front and basically that was all I heard from him. Except
for every excuse under the sun that it was not completed. Brillant on my part!!
Then, I went out and hired a "professional" website designer. This was after I was playing around on one the design your own website
internet sites. I was told that this would take about a week to two weeks to be completed and I paid some upfront money and said let
us go ahead with this. Well!! The "professional" website designers are not all that great. First, they just parroted my designs and that
was not acceptable. I wanted them to design a website. Well, we got past that. They came back with a partial website design. After
going about the process of changes that needed to be done. It was not acceptable, wrong products on different product pages, no
photos or wrong photos of products. Plus as time went by it is now close to two months. I went through and did a list of "suggestions"
that I wanted "corrected". Still has not been done. I sent an email asking to be refunded my monies as they have not completed the
contract as specified. I received a reply. That they were told to go on vacation for the "Spring Festival" here in China and that they
would get back to me after their return. Need less to say. I am looking for "another" website designer.
Well!! That is the explanation why we do not have a website up and running. Now!! To be more than truthfull. While we have some
great product lines for sale here in mainland China. For the most part we can only sell here locally. The main exception at this time is the
Shuguang Audio & Shugaung Tubes and Pir Audio. We are permitted to sell these items back to the United States, Canada and the rest
of the world.
If you are in China, we are authorized to sell the following product lines. Dussun, Jungson, Shuguang, Pir Audio, AudioSpace, Linn
Products, Focus, ProAc, Ho Audio, Anaylsis Audio, Hyperion, DEQX, Hypex, SINE, AIVIN, Aegis Digital, SlimDevices, ProSound Cables and
a few others. In my opinion great products from people that care about sound and the musical difference. Well!!! Enough of this
commercial for Ming Yi Audio.
