For Sale a Sony DVP-7000s. This was originally a grand at the turn of the last century. It is the "classic" inexpensive 1st class CD transport. I've compared in my system to a 47 Labs Shigaraki and a c-j DR-1 and it compares evenly, each player as a transport having its own goodness. It plays CD-R and DVD, but not DVD-R -- which is what many have reported about this unit. No manual or original box--but do have remote. I never thought I'd part with these, but I like listening from a hard drive better. I've audiogon/ebay references should they be wanted. $75.
