Where do you have the subwoofer located.  I stopped using mine because it skewed the soundstage in the general direction of the subwoofer.

I heard another setup with a subwoofer located perfectly in the center that sounded quite nice.

Also, could you please share the general construction details & dimensions for your cabinet.

For a 2 channel setup, stereo subs are the only way to go, IMO.  VERY nice when you have it setup well.

Please give specifics about your SCC300 sub. I'm still waiting for my amp to arrive.

Thanks,

Al

I couldn't agree with you more Tyson.
As it seems that one sub can skew the image badly, conversely two subs can miraculously make your sound stage expand many feet wider. My SCC300's are corner loaded outside my monitors and the sound stage is enveloping. No single contribution or tweak to my system ever had such a dramatic effect to the sound stage  :D

For now I located the sub in the corner on the outside of the speakers, I plan on trying other locations later. As for now it seems to blend in good its just so much better than what I had before, I've just been enjoying how much better it is.  As far as constuction it is 18*18*21 internal w/2 vertical braces with about 50% removed which I figured roughly at 3.7 cu. ft. it has 1.5 in. top, bottom and sides and 2.25 in. front and back. I also used a Art Of Sound amp. And this thing is HEAVY, in a pinch could also use it as a jack stand

What is the crossover point?
What did you use for internal wiring?
Did you use MDF only? Did you use any internal dampening material?
