Update: I bought it for Christmas, and it sounds good.

I also unplugged the DEQX and carried it out to the car with the mic for some RTA.  Sounds even better now. (The Panny has a decent eq built in).

I've had my eye on that one for a while.
Crutchfield has them for $299 with free wiring/install kit and free shipping.

Glad to hear you like the sound.  Nobody in car audio appears to care about much other than SPL.....

What speakers are you driving with it?
