How about we agree on a CD that all can own so we may comment on what we hear in our own systems.Evaluating new equip with one disc we all have would be priceless

Seriously, a CD that contains a mix of artists, styles, instrumentation, recording techniques, etc. would probably be more meaningful than a single-artist CD. (I know what you mean, though.). The NY Audio Rave has done that.

Yep.....its now 2007.
The purpose of the Rave cd was to do exactly that - a UNIVERSAL CD....and I'm doing my best to spread it around.
All the regional groups should now have it....and I gave them out at RMAF '06.
