SP2 and AC line conditioning and surge protection

My new system will be installed this week (SP2, powerpacks, etc). I still have not decided on an AC line conditioner/surge protection. Any thoughts or suggestions. The torus products are not in the budget at this time.

As far as surge protection, I think ZeroSurge is probably the best. It may be that that is the technology used in the Torus products. My understanding is that both SurgeX and BrickWall have licensed the technology from ZeroSurge. I use a pair of SurgeX devices with my Bryston 7B SST, BP26, CD player, DVD player, TV, subwoofer, etc.

The SurgeX devices claim load-tolerant filtering.
