I have a problem with songs showing up twice on the SB3 display all the time and I don't know how to correct that?  I look and I don't have multiple copies in my library?  Is that similiar to your problem?

If you're using the iTunes library go into iTunes and delete the unwanted songs and choose "move to trash" when prompted.  If you're using a regular folder for Slim Server just go in and delete the song\folder directly in Explorer\Finder.  I suspect a rescan of the slimserver library would then be in order to reflect the changes.

mr_bill:

Kind of except my library also shows more than one of the same album and songs.

If it's not all of your albums and you are using multiple directories or drives, maybe you have duplicate shortcuts somewhere?  That was my problem.

I just guessing, but when you notice the double listings in Slimserver of tracks, are you using "Browse Music Folders"?  When you load tracks by way of "BMF" you load everything in that folder, including the playlist file.  It took me a while to figure this one out, but you do get double listings b/c you are loading the tracks and the playlist.  Does this help?

I finally gave up trying to find out how to delete songs from slimserver. Got all pissed off yesterday so I deleted everything via the control panel delete programs. I reinstalled itunes and slimserver. Been downloading albums to itunes part of yesterday and most of today. Fresh start. 71 albums so far. Got a lot more to do. Now everything is looking good.

So far I've downloaded about 20% of my CD's to itunes. Maybe in a year or two I'll have all of them downloaded. Wish me luck!!! I need it!
