I talked to Klaus about a month ago and he mentioned he wouldn't attend the upcoming ces. So my questions is, does anyone know of any dealers or manufactures who will be using Odyssey componets at the show. I want to have a listen to the Monos extreme amp and candelas pre.

I thought CES is more of the IPOD, and panasonic Plasma Tv convention these days.. Maybe a few like Krell or something will survive the show, but I would guess small hi end Very expensive stuff will not be making as much of a showing as like with the newer outlet  at RMAF and all that... I mean gotta remember people would look at an Odyssey amp at a place like this and say "I can buy a whole bose system for that".. Its just not the market and probably why a lot of these guys will not show up is my guess, not to mention it is probably a lot more expensive for a display spot at one of these with little turnover or interest in sales, but I could be wrong...

In previous years as well as CES there was THE Show for the high end folks.  It was usually done at a smaller venue than CES.  Last time I attended in was at the Alexis on Tropicana Blvd.  The place has smaller exhibition halls and many vendors get rooms or suites to set up their displays. 

While primarily the larger high end players, there was a decent representation of the smaller high end vendors as well.

I think you are right and hit the nail on the head. I new that but i thought i would ask because i might be passing through Vegas about that time. I know Modwright, Belles, Heron and several others I'm considering. I should have put more effort in attending the RMAF because that sounds like the show to attend.

Yes I've heard that too. I've never attended one though and look forward to seeing what its all about. I think there is something similar to that called the Show and that will be at the St Tropez hotel. I think the main event will be held at the Venetian. I actually just found a link to the Show.

This is great additional information. I know that i talked to a couple of manufactures who mentioned they would be there and didn't show on the list on the link in my last post. This gives me a more clear picture in who is going to be there.
