how would I go about replacing a driver in a 3.0 speaker?

Step 1: Acquire Phillips screwdriver tool
Step 2: Insert screwdriver into one of the four screws holding the driver to the cabinet..
Step 3: Turn handle of tool in a counterclockwise direction until screw comes out. Repeat this step for the remaining 3 screws.
Step 4: Pull off wire connectors which are attached to the driver.
Step 5: Repeat process in reverse for new driver with the exception of turning the screws in a clockwise direction rather than counterclockwise. A helpful phrase is "Righty Tighty Lefty Loosey"

A friend of mine is sending me a pair of nOorh 3.0's - the only caveat is that one of the drivers is busted. So I need to find a replacement driver, and use it to replace the broken one - where might I find such an item?

I have seen the speakers on the website, never in-person, but I should have seen the screws - I had no idea it was as un-complicated as it appears to now be. Thank you for your responses.

Unless I goofed, I am pretty sure the driver is a Tang Band W3-594S 3" driver. I would assume there's many places that sell them, but one I know of is Parts Express.

Yep, gotta be careful with these little guys, they will squawk at you if you play them too loud. Perhaps that's how his got wrecked?

I also happen to know from a very reliable source, where you can get EIGHT of them, PLUS a Pyramid-shaped cabinet, wooden base, grill cloth and packing box for real cheap-like.

I am in Japan so e-mail is a bit hard to get to. As for replacing the driver in the 3.0s, I believe that Parts Express carries the Teng Beng drivers. You would get the model number off the driver and order that particular driver. We could ship you a new driver but the shipping costs would make it more expensive than getting it from someone in the US. The driver is made by Teng Beng.
