Hey Vinnie, now that you have created the ultimate stereo and mono amps, why not complete your catalog with a 5 channels amp?  This would open up a whole new set of buyers, avid HT enthousiast would certainly love the great sound your amps produce!  Well, I think I would be kind of interested, hahaha!

I would prefere a 5 channel Clari-T myself, only because a Signature version might be out of my price range.

Imagine multichannel SACD with 4 or 5 B200 OB's in the room!

I can't say I'm itching to get into HT 

You can always use a Sig 30 for the fronts, Sig 30 for the rears, and Sig 70 for the center (or one channel of another Sig 30), right? 

If you really want to go hard core, follow what PLMONROE suggests... 5 Sig 70s!

Two Clari-T's might do me well as I prefere listening in 4.2.

At the moment I'm using a T-amp for the rear channels and a dual mono Clari-T for the fronts and I have marked 3 spots on the T-amps dial that correspond to certain possitions on the Clari-T's dial.

It would be nice to have matching gain on front and rear amps, which makes me wonder Vinnie, if I bought a standard Clari-T (not custom/dual mono) but having a same stepped attenuator as my custom amp, would the gains be the same? I can set levels on my universal player, but I would likle the rate of change of each amps gain to be the same, if you know what I mean. i.e 5 clicks on each dial has them gain matched, as would 6, 7 clicks etc.

I'm happy enough with the sound quality of the T-amp for rear duties, but I would upgrade to a standard Clari-T to have the convenience of level setting by feel, without having to switch on the light and get out my glasses.

One further possibility, but I dont know if this is feasable(?) is to have two Clari-T's and run both amps gains with one stepped attenuator, with some wires  going from the one amp to the other. Can one DACT do double duty?

I do two channel home theater because I've never been convinced that more is better and because I have limited resources. It only makes sense that you can buy better quality if you are splitting your funds between two channels rather than among five or seven.
For my purposes quality trumps quantity every time.

I also subscribe to the idea of not compromising the front channels for the sake of rears, and my budget is also very limited, but I found that spending $100 on a T-amp and DIY fostex OB's for the rear addedd a lot to movie watching. In this case I dont think I could have used the $100 towards any improvement up front.

Front/rear timber and quality matching is somewhat important for multichannel music, but for movies I personally dont feel the need to spend more than what I did on the rears. Just suggesting this incase anyone wants to try multichannel DVD on the cheep.
