Recently acquired these seriously great CDs
... in short, extremely impressed.
Certainly not for everyone... but I do recommend further investigation, especially to those seeking something new/different.
Beautifully unique voice (an acquired taste perhaps), simple presentation, lotsa harp, smart lyrics,
grade-A production (Steve Albini did the vocals on "Ys"). I don't even know how to classify her work
Oh, and "Ys" got a 9.4 on Pitchfork... no small feat!
