when your setup doesn't jive with your music...

I have better equipment now than ever before. I must confess, this is more of a rhetorical beef than anything else.
My magnepans have been tweaked and modified, custom stands, oxo boxes, gucci oxo components and the requisite wire gluing.
I love the maggie open timbre, I feel like the musicians are in my room. Lately I have been buying a lot of guitar jazz. Joe Pass, Tal Farlow, Kenny Burrel and Wes Montgomery. Chasing buzzing wires this last few weeks has me freaking out everytime I hear a fret buzz or whatever thing it is that guitar players do when their strings buzz, it sounds just like a loose magnepan wire!
I come out of the coach like a rocket and start rubbing the wires looking for the new loose wire. Shit is it the music or my magnepans buzzing?
I guess it is time to build my Raw Acoustics RA8s so I can just have piece of mind.
I know this is a really dumb gripe but I just wanted to share.
