In an effort to squeeze a bit more out, of my wonderful Timepieces, I am thinking of going the biamp route, not for the volume, though as I rarely have the system abouve 89db or so.
I will use each of the 4 channels of my Bel Canto EVO 4 amp to run the tweets and woofs on each side. Now the question is what do I use for wire. I have a 20 foot pair of Sonoran I am selling only need 6-8 feet per side since rearranging. So I think I will use CVH starquad 9 gauge copper for the woofs and some sort of silver lace for the tweets. Anyone have ideas on what might work best for the top end? I am thinking Homegrown IC 4 bulk which is silver lace wire with 4 conductors. Run plus and minus out of that one bundle or do I need the heavier gauge that a single lace on the positive and negative inputs?
Has anyone tried this approach? I have anote inot Biob for his thoughts, but I know he is busy and most of you guys have tried lots of configurations.
BTW It was great to meet many of you at the RMAF. Thanks much to lonewolf for the demo cd. We had a good laugh on last track of the disk.
cheers
