Eplac Wiring Question with SB3
« on: 23 Sep 2006, 10:42 pm »
Purchased an Elpac WM075-1950 that has a 5 pin Din and 4 wires. When wiring to a DC power plug do I just need to wire the postive middle and outer netural and leave the second common and negative out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Cut the connector off.

Strip part of the insulation off the four wires.

Check the voltage/polarity of the wires with your multitester.

Solder the wires to a 2.5 mm power connector.

The four wires are color coded. There are two that are ground and two that are 5.2 volts +

I have seen different colors and wiring in the ELPACs. The only way to know for sure is to test.

The center of the DC connector is positive. The outer sleeve is ground. You can use all four wires or just use two.
