Just used the nikon D2H F%$kin' fast camera! on high speed mode i shot of forty frames (40 frame buffer) in a few seconds.... i use the canon 10D (less than half the price) and i found the autofocus on the nikon so much more accurate and faster...

can't wait for the canon 1D markII which is suppose to be a little bit faster and 8mega pix compared to 4mega pix of D2H....... may have to get the 1D markII

ouch! what will that cost you down there?

I'm looking towards a secondhand 300d and a 'matching' powershot pro 1 for the wife myself... budget does not allow for something like a 1d mark 11... *sigh*

it sounds silly, but why do you need the 40 shot buffer? you will need some serious memory card size to be able to handle that for more than say 5 x 2  seconds of shooting time! I can only think of a few applications, F1 photos, nature shots and photojournalism in front of the court room or whatever.... if it wasn't my job, I doubt I could justify it!
GL with the purchase, lucky for me I can get stuff at probably 30-40% less retail price here in Singapore ;-)

the 1D markII will cost about AUD $7-8 K
that 40 frame buffer is good for sports photographers -anything involving action- ---

I find that some times i can get carried away when photographing half-nekit girls - i could blast of 9 frames (thats the buffer on the 10D) in no time and i would have to wait for the camera to finish writing before i can shoot again. thats why i'm interested in the 1D mark II
