Our standard size maple shelf dimensions for amp stands are 18 x 14, 20 x 16, 20 x 18 or 24 x 18 inches. Standard size maple shelf dimensions for equipment racks are 20 x 16, 20 x 18 or 24 x 18 inches. Virtually any other size can be custom made to your specifications.
The frame of each stand and equipment rack is comprised of precision aluminum extrusions which create the most stable, rock solid foundation possible. The four horizontal support beams may be adjusted up and down to suit your exact needs. Each is fitted with adjustable spiked feet (inluded...not an expensive add-on option) which not only couples the structure solidly to the floor but also permits infinite leveling adjustments. We also include four metal protective pads which may be used under the spikes to protect fine floors and surfaces (if desired).
The stands, shown in this listing, all have a maple surface area measuring 18 inches by 14 inches and are priced at $269. for the standard version. The overall dimensions of this complete stand are
22 inches by 18 inches by 6 inches in height. The weight capacity is virtually unlimited and will handle any size amplifier available today or tomorrow.
As represented in one of the accompanying photos, the metal finish options for the aluminum extrusions are either clear silver anodized or black anodized (additional $25 charge for black). The maple may be ordered in clear satin maple, walnut, mahogany and cherry (as shown in an accompanying photo). Satin black is also available at extra cost. All finishes are sealed with coats of clear satin polyurethane which produces a hard protective surface.
Please note the two photos which illustrate our amp stand with the wood trim option. This additional feature adds beautiful wood inlays to the outer surfaces of the aluminum channel. Although we humbly suggest that the standard amp stand is quite attractive, the addition of the optional wood trim, brings the amp stand to an even higher level. The wood trim option matches the stain finish of the maple slab and is available at an addtional cost of $50.00 per stand.
