The S B Designs digital stylus tracking force gauge allows you to bring out the very best your records have to offer. It is extremely accurate and measures in 1/10th gram increments, which is exactly the accuracy you need and that which is recommended by all fine cartridge manufacturers. It has an easy to read digital display and gives exremely repeatable readouts. Each scale is tested for accuracy, prior to shipment, using precise jeweler's calibration weights. The scale has a large, NON-MAGNETIC, weighing platform for tracking force measurement, is only 3" in diameter and automatically calibrates itself to 0.0 grams every time it is switched on.
There are other great devices on the market with a comparable level of accuracy and repeatability (like the Cartridge Man, Clearaudio and Winds gauges),...BUT..., they cost from $300 to $700, or more.
