i have a Yamaha CR-820 with a hum that I can't eliminate. The receiver is in otherwise excellent condition, so I need to take it for a doctor's appointment.
I don't want to ship it so I'm left with local repair. The last time I had a receiver repaired, I was lucky enough to find someone working out of their home but that's no longer available.
I'd welcome anyone's first hand experience; whether good, bad or average - before I just choose someone from the phone book.
