How do you regard your audio components? Musical instruments or laboratory grade machines. Are you after musical magic or lab measurements?  Since I regard audio components as musical instruments  and design my creations in this context and see that the sound feature of audio lies within this perspective, I invite all musicians and musiclovers to participate in this discussion. This topic is really inflamed after reading Srajan Ebaen’s another recent and creative article (Supratek Cabernet, the link is below) right on the heart of this issue. Thank you Srajan for another mind opening article.

Musical magic is elusive. Components must work in harmony to achieve such magic. Experimentation with numerous "labortory machines" sometimes yield magic. Some products possess a magical quality like the SilverFi, Black Sand, and SAS, but on their own they are laboratory designs created by the designer's interpetation of what's needed to approach audio nirvana. No single product is a musical instrument. I believe it takes a special synergy of "laboratory machines" to create a group of "musical instruments" that work as a whole to create beautiful music.
