When will we see HDMI 1.3 show up?

According to the HDMI website the 1.3 spec has been finalized. :)

Wondering we we'll start to see components with 1.3 input / output?  Specifically DVD players and next gen high-def DVD with HDMI 1.3 outs to pre-pros with 1.3 ins and HD audio processing (Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD)?   :scratch:

Think we'll see someting before Christmas?   :xmas:

Most are saying "2007" which to me means fall (after midyear CES, etc.).  I assume some prototypes will be shown at January's CES, but wouldn't hold my breath.   For existing prducts it's a board swap, at least.  My $.02

You know, I think I'm most excited about the new audio codecs.   :hyper:  I'm hoping that they'll evolve into the next gen of high-rez audio given SACD and DVD-A never really took off.

That's probably even further out I imagine....so I think I'll just kick back, save my pennies and enjoy my standard def stuff for a while   8)

Or maybe spend my money on a better 2ch pre, CDP or DAC.  Just a thought.
