I've heard the LSA Model 1 monitors in my system. Quite good. Big, room filling sound for monitors. Nice imaging. Wide sweetspot. Speakers to use for listening to music, not for anal retentive, critical audiophile listening. The only downside thought was a touch of grain and etch in the highs. This might have smoothed out after more hours. I had maybe 100 hours on them. Also, I was running them with jumpers, and the LSA Group strongly recommends bi-wiring for best results.
The LSA2 would certainly be worth auditioning, and there are higher level versions of the LSA2 coming. I'm not certain of what makes the higher level LSA2s different, although I believe it's the crossover design/parts.
