Yet Another Bugle Power Supply Question...
« on: 29 May 2006, 02:20 am »
I've been using the Bugle with 9v batteries for a while, and keep forgetting and leaving it on, so I finally decided to build the power supply which I bought at the same time but didn't put together. You'll have to forgive my lack of understanding here, but I'm a little confused even after reading the archives; on the -15 side of the supply, the -15 point should be connected with the battery -, and the ground to the battery +, right? Or am I misunderstanding this completely?

Also, to wire the supplies in parallel, I can just jumper from the second hole at the first connection to the third, right? Or do I need to run two lines from the positive AC coming in?

Learning as I go, as usual, although I thought I should ask before I see smoke...like to keep that from happening if possible!  :D

Well, I decided to tackle it anyway based on some of what I saw in older posts here, and it works...I did basically what I was asking above, and it's working right off the bat. I swear too, I think the top end response has dramatically increased. Sounds wonderful.
