I'm trying to learn what all those numerous speaker parameters stand for.  You know, like Vas and Fs and Xmax so on.  Anyone know a good place that explains this in layman's terms, more or less?

Might I suggest the Speaker Cook book as a well sound investment

www.amazon.com I believe there is up to 6th edition

I think Parts Express might have the best price on the LDC.

Good link from Peter. Nathan, if you're interested in seeing how the parameters affect the response of a speaker in a box, Unibox is good to play with. It requires Excel. I prefer the 3.0x version most of the time as it's faster.
