The smaller the better in magnet wire, too.  13ga. was better than 12ga cryo'ed wire I have - neither great, but the thinner gauge was much preferred.  Both kinda' plodded along, but the smaller gauge allowed for more detail overall.

Most of the 'recipes' seem to use 20-26ga with varying degrees of success.

Go with VH Audio CheLA speaker cables.  You'll thank me...

Ok...Jon L   Thank You!!

Took your advise and purchased VH Audio CHeLA speaker cable.

It takes some time to terminate it but well worth the effort.
I used a single hole adjustable stripper. Terminated with AudioQuest CF
spades. Also made CHeLA jumpers and terminated with the AQ CF spades.

It is a first class speaker cable. Very transparent... Very quiet no glare....
Excellent midrange and tight deep bass. With very good micro and macro dynamics.
Instruments and voices sound very natural...  I started going through my whole SACD and CD collection.... Oh what fun..

Most musical speaker wire I have used. Highly recommended..
