Must be time to try something new even though there's really no rational reason to, in fact it could be a waste of time. Presently I'm using an Innersound ESL 300 that is the only amp I've had that doesn't sound like transistors. Wonder if anyone has used the Belles 350A or the Classe 201 or 301 with their RM 40's. Please list your other equipment too please. Thank You

I've heard both the Belles 350A amp and the RM40's....but not together. But I think the Belles would be a good match...excellent power to drive the 40's. I say give it a listen !!! [/list:u]

I'm currently bi-amping my RM40's with a Classe 101 and an Acurus a250.  I'm using the Classe on the midrange and treble and I really love the sound.  The only other sub $1500 solid state amp I've heard that I liked better than Classe were the old Counterpoint solid state amps.  

I tried switch to the Acurus just to see what the difference would be and was left very unimpressed.  The Classe is just more musical and warmer sounding in comparison to the Acurus.  However, the Acurus at 250w is a much better fit for the bass section as it has power in spades.
