Any good records?

I was looking at Centerfield.. I have no idea about quality but there is a remaster avalible.

I am a huge Creedence Clearwater Revival and Revisted fan. I think Vinyl is the only best way to listen to Revival personally.... I am going to buy Revisted's CD some day, I bet it will be awsome as well, I know the concert was the best I have been too.

I just picked up the Centerfield remaster on cd . It sounds good with great punch & clarity .
Blue Moon Swamp is also excellent ( content & sonics ) .

What's your impression of the album Deja Vu All Over Again?  I heard the title track on a college station's political show and thought it was brillant (basically a clone of Have You Ever Seen The Rain-a Vietnam era protest song-redone as an anti-Iraq song) but allmusic.com's review of the album is pretty lackluster.

As far as Centerfield goes, if you like Fogerty you'll love that album.

Elliot Easton, the lead guitar player for the Cars, played guitar for Creedence Revisited. He is now back with the new incarnation of the Cars (appropriately named The New Cars) with Todd Rungdren on vocals.

Check out Fogarty's live DVD - Blue Moon Swamp. It has excellent sound quality.

The definitive CCR releases are from Acoustic Tech on vinyl and SACD.  They blow away any of the HORRIBLE regular CD releases and slightly better, but still not great, US vinyl releases.

I haven't heard the earlier Fogerty solo efforts, although I'm a big fan of CCR.  The latest, Deja Vu is pretty good - the sonics are excellent (although the title tracks sounds a bit 'soft') and the guitar playing is incredible.  My only complaint was that I think the lyrics could have been a bit stronger on some songs.  I still enjoy the cd though.

Also, I love the Premonition DVD.  Great sound, great concert, great song selection, etc.

Centerfield is a great album.  The music is good, and the sound is suprisingly good.  I would recomend it.
