If you are considering the RM30, better get your deposit in now, because these will likely go fast.

Just received these pictures of the new RM30 cabinets from MLS.

Just take a look at how sweet these African Ebony look

How about the Black, Rosewood, and AE?

Or Stunning Rosewood??? :o

I think these are scheduled to ship, in about 10-15 days.

One thing is for sure the MLS cabinets are of the very best quality.  I still wonder if I wouldn't have been happier with the African Ebony. It was the female here that convinced me otherwise.  Sometimes I think I need someone to do me a favor and smack me along side the head with a 2x4.

John: Are there CD waveguides coming with them? Also what's the word on availability with the various models?

Love the new website btw :D

Will  these new cabinet get a new tweeter modded for CDWG?   I noticed that the tweeter cutout  has a different shape (cross). On my  626R its shape is a I.

African Ebony is not the true name of this veneer.  It is actually Macassar Ebony.  Most woodworkers think of Gabon Ebony as African Ebony, which is jet black in color.  Macassar Ebony has the striped colorations.  There are many Ebony species from around the world and confusion is easy.  Just to clarify what you are selling and what the customers are seeing.

Hi Bruno,

I think B has been working on that, but I don't know where it is currently.

The new cutout might reflect the change, but maybe Brian will see this and comment.

Hi Michael,

I think the "African Ebony" came from Mark when he first sent the cabinets and it sorta stuck.

I visited your site and looks like you have just about every veneer known.

Do you build speaker cabinets too?

John,

Actually we do not sell veneers (right now).  Our primary offerings are figured and exotic lumber.  I do hope to offer veneers at some point in the future.

No we do not manufacturer anything except sawdust.  We simply sell the lumber and let the craftspeople do as they choose with our woods.  I simply have no time anymore to build anything.

I had been in and around high end audio sales since the late 70's til I found my niche.  Trying to find sometime to resurrect my music system and give me a distraction from hardwoods.

Uhhh John, are you sure that those speakers you're referring to as "light & natural birch" are actually birch?

They look a lot like oak to me...

Yes you are correct.  I posted the wrong picture.  Those are stock cabinets.  Somehow I must have deleted the Birch.

Light Oak and Dark Oak (shown) are not MLS cabinets.

Hope I don't confuse anyone by deleting the Oak
