Hybrid amp comparison

If I were looking to buy a hybrid amp, I'd also consider the 200 series from Blue Circle. if one has enough preamp gain to drive it, the BC-202 is very, very good. Dead quiet, warm, fabulous bass and excellent imaging. I haven't heard the Butler amp, but the Blue Circle is certainly among the best amplifiers I've heard for less than $8,000.

Maybe we can do a hybrid amp shootout at an upcoming NY Rave? Chris has the Butlers, I have the Blue Circle...anyone else have the AVA?
