With my own hard earned cash... It was either The Doors "The Doors"  or Mothers of Invention "Freak out", not too sure... Led Zep 1 and Are You Experienced were right in there too!  Dad's AR 1a's were never the same

Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
Gram Parsons - Grievous Angel

CSNY and Pink Floyd in te 70s. Dire Straits and Steely Dan in the 80s. Counting Crows in the 90s and Grateful Dead from the 70s to the 90s.

Add Guy Clark to all of the above for the current evergreens.

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

I think I wore the CD out. Changed how I felt about music, marks the time when I went from a passive listener to a music lover.

This is a hard question.

Maybe Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

Possibly, Jethro Tull, Stand Up.

Most likely, Ten Years After, A Space in Time

Awright!  Another fan of early Jethro Tull!!  Stand Up and Benefit are two of my all time favorite albums.

You betcha! I'm glad "Aqualung" made them famous, but there was a lot of fine music before and afterward. I really like "Thick as a Brick" myself.
