SB3 RWA analog mods comparisions??

Am having a SB3 shipped to RWA for modding, but unsure which level mod to get.
Any comparisions that people have made of the RWA analog modded unit with other digital setups (one box, or transport/DACs, PC/SB/DACs, PC/modded SB/DACs, etc)???

How does the analog mods with the battery power option compare to the analog mods w/o battery power option?

So if I read that correctly- DC Guy preferred his Ack Dac being fed by a RWA modded SB3 with digital mods over the RWA modded SB3 analog out alone.

It is unclear if he had the battery option. Maybe I missed that.

I own a fully RWA modded SB3 and had an Ack dAck! v.2 with high resolution/high output options played through a stock Sony S7700. Without the SB3 being broken in a brief comparison did not reveal any significiant differences (except output volume levels). As a reference, the Auricap/Black Gate upgrades to my Clari-T were obvious and impressive with no break-in.

I've also compared battery versus A/C options with the SB3 and could discern no differences. Note that I have nearly ideal A/C (rural without nearby industry, our own transformer due to long underground service, new house with all new appliances, each cryo'd hospital grade A/C receptacle to the audio system on its own circuit with all of them connected to a dedicated ground). Note also that the RWA A/C option provides a linear power design which is far superior to a wall wart.

So you have an Ack Dack v2 that has additional mods on it?
I have heard very good things about that DAC; also the Sony 7700 as a transport.

So did you then compare the RWA modded SB3 analog out versus the RWA SB3 into the ACk Dack??

And congrats on the AC power setup. We should all be so lucky!
