I am looking to upgrade my system (Bow ZZ-8, Chord DAC, PMC FB1+) with a new amplifier - I have been reading about valves and the Quad kit in particular.
I listen to all sorts of classical music.
I seem to have heard all the good things about valve kit - I can't believe there aren't downsides.
Solid state I have considered .... Bryston SP25, ad 4B SST.
Chord Prima + Mezzo.
