Anyone familiar with the Lite Dac 62?
« on: 28 Oct 2006, 03:56 am »
This is my first post, so first of all hello.

I have been lurking around this board for some time and based upon many very positive reviews I have decided to buy a Lite Dac-60 to go with my squeezebox 3 and bolder modded elpac.  I was going to order a stock dac-60 and mod it later, but I just found the Dac-62 http://www.pacificvalve.us/LTDAC62.html offered by pacific valve and was curious what any of you thought.  I searched this board and others for info but found nothing, however the mods done and the upgraded tubes used seem to be in line with what others are doing so maybe this would be great.  Any Ideas. Thanks.

Welcome happy,

All that stuff looks nice, and its nice to have all those tubed DAC alternatives, but as the prices grow the Altman Attraction DAC starting at 750E (+ battery) looms very large.
