Does anyone here subscribe to the Audiophile Voice? I've never read a copy and received a subscription solicitation for this magazine yesterday and was just curious if any AC members subscribed and found it worth the cost.

Mike,

I've breezed thru it many times on the news stands...I'm not sure anything caught my fancy anytime I perused it.  I have seen them at Barnes & Noble and Bordes Books before....but distribution is likely subject to local magazine distributor that stocks bookstore shelves in your area.

I end up buying one or more Brit mags as the photography/pics are great and they review gear I don't hear of much on that side of the pond   :)

I got 'assigned' a subscription to it when Listener went out of business.

Other than a couple of CD's they recommended, it was a total waste of paper & my time.   :P      For 'free', it wasn't worth reading, IMO.

Yikes, harsh criticism!

I am with Chairguy, I prefer the Brit mags to the local rags, though lately, THIS place has been my bible...

I have bought a couple of these, and read many at the local Chapters.

Worth breezing through for free, I won't buy another one, unless they hit on a piece of gear that I really like.

I wish someone would come out with Audio magazine again. That was my favorite magazine. The main american mags have run themselves into the ground. Although I appreciate them it's like reading the same thing over and over and over again. They need to make things more interesting.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll put the $20 towards dinner with my wife. :)
