Just a short note about some fine customer service from a small audio company. I called Goldpoint Audio last week to order a Grayhill selector swtich and it hadn't arrived yet, which I figured it would since I'm only about 10 miles away.

Called this morning and the owner apologized for not getting it shipped saying the were swamped with orders and would I like to meet him for coffee and he'd bring the switch. I said that would be great and was thinking to myself, "wow, I didn't know that many folks were buying stepped attenuators".

Over coffee I learned why they were so busy. Turns out that Goldpoint Audio is only 1/2 the business. The other half is Singlepower Audio and they are buried with headphone amp orders. A big thanks to Mikhail for taking the time to meet me halfway for what is a small sale.

No affiliation with them other than being a happy customer.

Interesting, I didn't realize Goldpoint and Singlepower were the same crew.  I'm always glad to hear about more local groups with good customer service.

I didn't know until today. I saw Mikhail's name on the Goldpoint site and when I purchsed from them previously I'm pretty sure the name on their site was Arn Roatcap and I'd exchanged some email with Mikhail a couple of years ago. I suppose I should have put the names together but it wasn't until he mentioned the other half of the business that it clicked.
