About 4months ago the right channel of my Perreaux160i shut down. After a chat to John from TotallyWired(retailer)I changed fuses no luck and off it went to Perreaux. They could find nothing.(I was using my Norh CD1)Back it came and as i felt like a change i put my Esoteric 500 + Music Lab Dac in place of the Norh.No Worries till tonight!!.
Decided to put the Norh back on and straight away the right channel shut down again. For the life of me i cant remember if i tried the Norh out when it came back from Perreaux.Have since put the P500+dac back on but still no sound from right channel. Will have to wait until tomorrow to try and grab some fuses but in the mean time do you guys have any ideas why this might be happening?
Any help would be great!
Cheers

Get a few more fuses, and try an A/B test with the nOrh and the 500+. If the nOrh consistently blows fuses, you have you culprit.
This can happen for numerous reasons. My old Harman/Kardon 730 CD player did the same, I looked it over (I have its service manual) and eventually found a bad solder joint on the output RCA Cinch connector of the left channel.
Small things can produce rather dramatic results.
