Hope EVERYone has a great Christmas and/or Hannukah.
(Yeah, I'm SAYING the 'day'  rather than be 'generic'.)
The Spirit of Christmas is upon me, and it is in my heart to  release the Spirit as it would have me, and hope that all feel the blessings on mankind I feel, no matter what flag you fly or faith you attend to.

"Believe it if you need it,
If you don't, just pass it on..."  (Robt. Hunter)

Sure have had some great fun and listening with you folks, and hope there is much more to come.  I am a lucky man to have lived so long and to have heard so much, and to have made so many good friends!

May you all have a great holiday with your loved ones, and get some of what you want from Santa and less than anyone else!
(AH, there is a method to my madness so that no one can point a finger at you when you make your next personal purchase!! ;-)  )

Best Wishes and Regards,
DeadFish

Mornin' All,

I'm still working on my first cup of coffee and the fog in my head hasn't completely lifted yet so it's a little early to try to come up with something profound to say but I will say this;

I am truely grateful that we have all found each other. GAS and the Audio Circles have brought a tremendous sence of belonging into my life. The new friends we have all made though our get togethers and our online discussions have hopefully made all of our lives a little more fulfilling. Our friendships and the experiences we all share are marvelous things.

Here is s link to a Holiday article I wrote a few years ago for my friends over at TNT.

Here is wishing a Happy Holidays to all my friends here at AC  :xmas:

Be safe everybody and enjoy.

Well these are tough acts to follow. I would like to nominate our esteemed Mr. Deadfish as the official poet laueraete of the GAS society. Your kind words of wisdom have enlightened us all.

To all the GAS and AC members, new and old, I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Scott, I have Organ and Chimes on vinyl, it was my mom's favorite Christmas record. Now I'm going to have to dig it out and play it today in her memory.

It'll look cool on my acrylic platter too. 8)

Merry Christmas all!

I'll not try to follow such great thoughts and words other than to say enjoy the holidays, enjoy your families and friends, and be thankful for what you have and who you've been blessed to meet.

I know I feel very lucky to have met this group and hope things will continue and grow in the upcoming year.

To my friends and fellow gassers I wish you and your families all the very best this holiday. I truly appreciate the friendship you have all shown me in the last year and hope that in the year to come we gassers grow in strength and numbers so others may enjoy the friendship also. A special thanks to our long suffering significant others who patiently accept our little audio eccentricities. It's a good woman who will let her husband stick ugly wooden boxes 3 feet out in the family room. Happy Holidays. :)

I am on of the many that are working this holiday weekend and will be heading out first thing in the morning to spend a couple days with the family in Northeast Missouri. I am also thankful for the friends I have made and the exp we have shared. Deadfish, Scott and all the others have truely made my life a better place, I had forgotten how important music can be (and should be) in ones life. Today I find myself *listening* more than I am watching. This is a good thing.
I too hope that everyone gets what they want (deserve?) from Santa and that friends, family and loved ones are safe.
Here is to a great 2006!
    Happy Holidays my friends

    Merry Xmas everyone!
Electric Bear, you are absolutely correct!!!
Steve K. mentioned we should offer some form of a support group to our significant others and maybe come up with a T-shirt for them.  I thought we could dub them "AudioAnon's"  but am open for suggestions.  Maybe we can work on their credo and start a list of the 12 steps.

    every time company comes over-
"but don't you understand there is a difference between listening to music just socially as casual background music instead of blaring it so much so we can't hear eachother?"

    12.) anyone?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  It's been a great year with you guys and my New Year's resolution is to get to Sturgus' house of Merlin, take the Yamamotos to bmed's, get over to the near east side for some Deadfish Altecs , Mike's Maggies and jcrane's Onix.  And closer to home, let's throw in electicbear's Avalons, too!  And I have to get to Willie's workshop.

P.S.  Scott, I have to tell you about the church gig I played. 192 channels total mixing capability.

    See you guys soon!
