Ref 9 v. PS Audio HCA-2 or GCA-???

I just compared the Ref 9 to a Sherbourn 7/2100A and the NF was noticeably better.

Has anyone done any listening comparisons of the Ref 9 to the PS Audio amps. The HCA-2 amp got very high praise when it came out, even though it has now been replaced by the GCA series.

Hi John,

I've had a ps audio hca - 2 amplifier for a year now and i don't understand all the rave. I think i read one negative review and think it was the most accurate.

I've heard the nuforce amps and i really liked their sound. I haven't heard the other ps audio amps. Hope this helps.

Hey, Ref 9 is at a different league. Anyone who will be at CES please come and check out NuForce demo. And tell me if there is another room at CES with better sound

My thoughts exactly.

Just recieved my Squeezebox 3. Sounds great with lossless streamed along with 3 ref 9's

Once its modded look out (SB3).........both cutting edge tech.
