it only took them about 3 years to get them out. Sunfire had the rumor of these ribbon speakers for 5.1 a long long time ago, I had forgot about it.

Nope, not at all what the invention describes. It's a standard push-pull panel like ours with a serpentine trace and a center dispersion "vane". Just the opposite of the patent. Panels like this have been around 5 years or more.

What I want to know is who could be in the same room with those speakers when they're handling 600 watts of continuous power. Brian's device is linear wrt to the drivers; this device crams everything into a line then puts the line into a bowl.
