Have to show off My Bugle Mark III

Some may remember my 2 box Bugle which I fooled with until I took apart the case work and left it like this:

As It defeated more and more fono stages and my Cornet project advanced I decided to give it the Padauk casework treatment and finished today

Still the same dead quiet, highly resolving, <$100 wonder.

I guess now I'll have to write a new, more comprehensive review for my DIY column:

Very nice job!  I just picked up a Bugle2 from Jim, haven't tried it out yet.

Great woodworking!  Nice guts, too.  I'm curious about the 2 inputs (why?) and is the knob just for on-off or is that device a gain control?   Thanks.

My amp has a gain stage, volume control and just 1 input.  The  knob switches between  CD direct and LP off the Fono board.

Power switch is the toggle on the back.
