Thank you to all mfrs. who used our preamp and Denon 3910 players.  The show was a huge success and I want to extend a personal thank you to the following mfrs.:

Escalante Designs - for using our SWL 9.0SE.  You can count on us for CES!

Daedelus AUdio - for using our SWL 9.0SE and Denon (enjoy your new preamp!).

Zu Cable and Loudspeakers - for using our SWL 9.0SE (we'll get your unit ready for you soon!).

Gershman Acoustics/ Magnan Cables - thank you for using our SWL 9.0SE with APL's Denon 3910.

Coda Technologies - for using their ModWright modified Denon 2900.

Ginko Audio - for using our Denon 3910. (Let's talk further about CES!)

Special thanks to SP Technologies also for their kind words about the synergy between our preamp and their fantastic loudspeakers.  We will have a preamp ready for you soon!

We also sold the remaining demo units to individuals who will be enjoying them soon.  Thank you for your business and support.

The show was a huge success for ModWright Instruments and I feel that we had great synergy between the 9.0SE and the C.I. Audio D-200 monoblocks.  It is clear to me that Dusty's amps are the best Class D amps currently available in the marketplace.  They have a place in my reference system!  I also will be purchasing the Penaudio Serenade speakers for my reference system.  The synergy we had was exceptional and I was very pleased with our room sound.

Thank you to all that attended the show and to all who I met and was able to put a face with the name ;).

Take care,

Dan W.

Congrats, Dan, on all the great feedback from RMAF.  I wish I coulda been there and finally met you (I feel like we've already met, what with all the conversations, emails and posts....my pre and 999ES continue to get great comments from friends and visitors; best $$ I've spent on audio).  I know you mentioned SP Tech's great comments, but didn't know if you actually saw Bob's post.  I guess he liked it.

Dan,

Congrats on the show, sorry I missed you, my business needed me at home.  I am really enjoying your pre-amp, and am still deciding what tubes I like best.  I have bendix 6900's, tungsol 5687's, amperex pinch waist 7119's, and am still waiting on the cryoed tugngsols, you promised me.  BTW, how is my sony coming? 8)

Cool...

5687's are not back from Cryo, but I am expecting your Sony to be complete from my Tech. today.  I will be checking it out and shipping by Monday at the latest.

I'm glad that you are enjoying the preamp and I look forward to hearing which tubes you prefer.

Apparently the Gershman(sp?) room with Magnan Cables used one of our 9.0SE preamps between the APL Denon 3910 and amps at the last minute.  Al Steifel told me that extra gain and current buffering was needed.  I was told that the result with the preamp was excellent however.

Thanks,

Dan W.
