What have people found to work best with the Jolida tube integrateds? I am currently using a 502B and want to get the absolute best out of this jewel.

Believe it or not, I have found that the stock tubes sound very good. If you want to experiment with a warmer tone for instance, try some old GE or RCA tubes in the 12AX7 positions. A less expensive option may be Electro-Harmonix 12AX7s. EH also makes the most durable new KT88 type tube in the 6550EH when you need new power tubes. I would not actually recommend changing anything until you need something but having a spare set on hand is nice so that you are not "out of tunes" while you wait on tubes to arrive.

and it uses the el34's instead of the kt-88's.

I like the sound of the SED winged C power tubes I think they give better highs and mid range .and the 12at7wc jan phillips. I use electro harmonix 12ax7's .
