My JVC F10 is sounds great. Unfortunately, the thing shuts down after about 7 minutes of use. I listen to a very low volume with failry sensitive speakers so I know it could not be clipping. Any theories would be appreciated.

Is it possible that the + and - speaker wires are touching somewhere, especially in back where the speaker wire clips are positioned so close together?

Is the fan running inside your F10?  You should be able to hear it and feel the air exiting one of the sides.
