I was hospitalized on August 5th for what was supposed to be pretty minor surgery -- to fix an aneurysm in the artery behind my left knee with a bypass proceedure. The plan was in and out of the hospital in about 4 -5 days and a couple weeks slowdown and recovery at home.
Unfortunately there were severe complications -- reoccuring blood clots that blocked circulation to my lower left left and foot that required three more trips to the operating room over the next few days to get fixed and save my leg -- about 20 hours on the table in total. Too much.
I ended up in the hospital for 11 days (8 in intensive care) and came home one weak puppy. It has taken me a month to be able to hobble around the house without a walker or cane successfully and I still am housebound, driving not allowed yet.
However, I am recovering, slowly but surely and am getting better every day and the leg fix seems to be staying fixed.
This has put a slowdown here as the gals that normally work for me building stuff and everything else have had to spend too much time just taking care of me rather than taking care of business.
We are working hard now getting things back to normal, and they are getting there.
The new Transcendence Eight and Ultra SL and EC mother boards are done and verified and in production now, the new SL and EC faceplates are done and in production, and the new products are really really nice.
This is only a temporary slowdown for me and I am well on the way back to good health.
Thanks for all your kind thoughts.
