I would like to use 36 AWG medicial grade wire for the input/outputs. Is there any special considerations, downsides I should be aware of. I use this stuff in my ICs and they sing in my system. It's not just a matter of what I have around. I'm hoping for a synergy.Any thoughts you may have will be greatlly appreciated!!

36AWG should work fine.  I would only suggest you twist the input pairs.  They can be really sensitive to hum and other noise pickup.

I used some nice 23 ga. silver from percyaudio.com.  I inserted it into teflon tubing.

I think I did get the teflon there, they do stock it.  That wire has one of the highest purity ratings I've seen (7 - 9's).  I've made some interconnects using it as well with good results.
