Looking for a 3 channel amp

I'm looking for a 3ch amp to replace my 3 Odyssey monoblocks.  It will be used to drive a pair of Salk HT3 and the HTC.  I can spend up to about $3000.  Any suggestions?

Hell pug,

Earthquake has 3 channel amp for list $3600 but I am curious if you wouldn't be better off with 6 nuforce monos and biamp each speaker.  I think they are offering package discount.  Even though they are mono's they are smaller compared to Cinenova........I am interested in how salks would sound with nuforce.  Anybody have this combination?

I heard the UCD's at JoshK's house, and they sounded nice with his RM40's.

You might want to also demo the NuForce amps.  They are monoblocks, but not very large ones.

Also Kevin at DIYcable has some nice amps, but I have never heard them...

Sure... save some money and let me build you one.   The Hypex UCDs are awesome good for the money, they fit in a small form factor and consume little power.

Sure you have Marbles.   If you have heard the UCDs they are 95% of the sound.    That is assuming JoshK built a decent power supply.

Pugs,

Here is a nice Omegastar amp on 'gon.
Not affiliated with the seller - just trying to hook you up with a good deal and good amp

It may be too far UNDER your budget though.

I have an Earthquake 3 channel amp I will be selling, at a great deal. PM me if you are interested. I don't check in here too often so PMing me and me getting the email is best.

The Teac AL700P works well as a 3-channel amp, assuming that 30 watts (a big 30 watts at that) is enough power.

Just add mods

Cheers!

That amp is being sold at a local shop.  They said I could audition it at home for a few days.  I don't have my speakers yet though.  It still may be months until I get them.
